Today’s story is about Janey Strong and her experiences with home birth. Janey always knew that a home birth was something she was going to do. She has since had multiple home births and joins me to share more about her experiences, why she always wanted to have a home birth, and why she is so glad she did. Janey’s home birth experiences have come with a few surprises along the way.  

Here is what you need to know about Janey.  She is a mom of at least two children and one dog. The dog may or may not count as their third child, depending on whether you ask Janey or her husband. Part of Janey’s life story is buried in the backyard of her childhood home. She’s not great with house plants! She is an advocate of reading to babies as young as eight hours old, although at one time, she thought doing that was pretty weird. Janey is also. . . very funny.
